So many of the portraits from this session were so pretty in black and white, I just had to share a few of them here. The parents are just enamored with their new baby girl, and it was very inspiring!

August 1, 2010I realized recently that it’s been awhile since I photographed a two-year-old right around their birthday. We had such fun in the sun at this session! He reminds me a bit of my son, so of course I just thought every little thing he did was too cute!

And what better way to celebrate two than with cupcakes?! He was thrilled about the idea!

May 20, 2010What’s not to love about being three? You get to (try to) catch tadpoles at the lake, hunt for bugs, and have a photographer tickle you and “snap snap” from one end of Town Lake to the other… I think we should all be three.

Well, little J, I miss the days of your scoot. I cannot lie. I do happen to think you’re pretty great at being three, though, too!

May 17, 2010This little darling is well adored by her parents – and rightfully so! She’s a very soulful little one, and I absolutely love that! We have some very special portraits from this session – I’m quite a bit over my “must haves” for one session! (That’s a good thing in my book!)
I love that mama is smiling at her and that her little dog is nearby!
The next picture is one of my favorites from the session! I love any picture that shows us something about motherhood, and this one is very “in the moment”.
And one of beautiful mommy!
hooray for one year! | austin photographer
April 20, 2010This little man has grown and changed so much over his first year that I instantly had to choke back tears (all of my poor spring clients have to deal with this, as my son has an April birthday and I get sentimental)! At the one year session, part of me wants to give mom and dad big hugs and say, “You made it! The best is yet to come!” I don’t know, though, this little one had a sweet disposition at his newborn session and one year – perhaps that carried through the months in between! At any rate, here he is, an adorable one-year-old!
