What a fabulous day! This was a much anticipated wedding for me – I’d photographed engagement and bridal portraits for this couple already and already loved them to bits! This gorgeous wedding took place at The Plantation House in Pflugerville, TX.

I loved the details from this wedding – and the sweet little touches at the venue itself! Cindy Reed of Isn’t That Gorgeous arranged the flowers, and Delish made their cupcakes. Mmm!

Ooooh how lucky I am to have photographed these two!

What’s not to love about being three? You get to (try to) catch tadpoles at the lake, hunt for bugs, and have a photographer  tickle you and “snap snap” from one end of Town Lake to the other… I think we should all be three. ;)

Well, little J, I miss the days of your scoot. I cannot lie. I do happen to think you’re pretty great at being three, though, too!

I’m working on the “getting ready” pictures from this wedding right now. The rest is to come, but I had to post these. Such a serene, lifestyle feel to these.

This little darling is well adored by her parents – and rightfully so! She’s a very soulful little one, and I absolutely love that! We have some very special portraits from this session – I’m quite a bit over my “must haves” for one session! (That’s a good thing in my book!)

I love that mama is smiling at her and that her little dog is nearby!

The next picture is one of my favorites from the session! I love any picture that shows us something about motherhood, and this one is very “in the moment”.

And one of beautiful mommy!

It was difficult to select my favorites for this post! What a little angel he is – and I get to see him again later this year!

Such a gorgeous family, aren’t they?!

He may very well be the most peaceful baby on earth. He’s eased into his place in this sweet family already – I couldn’t believe how much it was like he was always there!

Could they be any cuter together?

(This cradle belonged to his daddy!)I just love you, A family! (You know that!)

so much beauty

I can’t tell you how inspiring it was to be at this location with this family! They transformed this peaceful ranch sitting on acres of green and invited me there for a session. It’s truly something special to hold your portrait session at a place you love and enjoy.

You’re a beautiful family!

This sweet couple planned such a beautiful day to celebrate their love and welcome their guests. I think they win the prize for most wedding guests staying until the very end! I don’t blame them – both a DJ and phenomenal band played during the reception while guests took pictures in a photo booth, explored several reception areas on the romantic Driskill hotel’s Mezzanine level, and danced the night away until the bride and groom were carried away in a carriage! I’m pretty sure that this is a night that no one will ever forget!

Thank you so much for letting me take part in this special day!

Happy Mother’s Day!

May 10, 2010

I’m thinking about all the moms who’ve allowed me to capture pictures of them with their little ones – wishing all of you a Happy Mother’s Day today!

Despite the way the blog is looking, I’ve been up to my eyeballs in photo sessions and all that comes with! I have several weddings and portrait sessions to blog about, but for now, here’s a Mother’s Day appropriate post of one beautiful new mama…
