This wedding was actually a “reception” for the destination wedding the couple had prior to the date, but I have to say the whole day seemed like one giant celebration of these two joining together! It was relaxed and fun – with a pinch of fabulous thanks to one stunning bride!

You’ve seen this family on my blog before… I just don’t think they could hold a bad session if they tried!

I don’t even want to know how many times this bride heard “rain on your wedding day means good luck!” Just one more time for the blog title, okay? I sincerely adore this couple and their sweet family, and I think they had a little more than just luck going their way on the big day… they had lots of love, support, and blessings from some pretty special friends and family!

I wish I could just share this entire session on the blog! I love the connection to each other we captured in this session, and that these two siblings can make each other laugh like they do!

New babies are always the star of newborn portraits, but I do just love sibling pictures during this time as well – both of big sis with their new baby sibling and some of just big sis at this precious milestone in life! They were both little stars for this session!

I left this session thinking: “Could that have been any more fun?!” I think not. What an amazing family – three boys and no stress!

Oh my am I ever behind on blogging! Yes, I’m still alive and have about thirty portrait sessions and seven weddings I’ve yet to share here. I’ll start with last July and a couple of portrait sessions shot in Orange County!

It was hard to narrow for blogging… they were all my favorite pictures!

This year is my fourth year photographing portraits and weddings in Austin. I’m getting a little sentimental with the clients who have been with me all four years, and this sweet family is one of them! I love their portraits from this year, as always, but I just had to post a little collage of a picture from each of their past sessions! Thank you, thank you to those who are coming back! It means so much to capture your families throughout the years and see the kiddos grow!

I’m in an Etta James sort of mood, and the title is fitting! I’m so excited to share this wedding, the beautiful couple, and the gorgeous details AT LAST! The bride and groom were wed at the beautiful St. Louis Catholic Church, and the reception took place at The Austin Club downtown.

This event was coordinated by Stefanie Yandell and her team from Your Wedding Your Way, and some of the details were brought together by Exquisite Petals, Stardust Pastry, Marquee Rentals, and Groove Knight (live band). I think the bride and groom have amazing taste!!

I’d forgotten to blog this session from a couple months ago. I’m so glad I was able to see this family again – and with one addition!!
