This year is my fourth year photographing portraits and weddings in Austin. I’m getting a little sentimental with the clients who have been with me all four years, and this sweet family is one of them! I love their portraits from this year, as always, but I just had to post a little collage of a picture from each of their past sessions! Thank you, thank you to those who are coming back! It means so much to capture your families throughout the years and see the kiddos grow!

I’m in an Etta James sort of mood, and the title is fitting! I’m so excited to share this wedding, the beautiful couple, and the gorgeous details AT LAST! The bride and groom were wed at the beautiful St. Louis Catholic Church, and the reception took place at The Austin Club downtown.

This event was coordinated by Stefanie Yandell and her team from Your Wedding Your Way, and some of the details were brought together by Exquisite Petals, Stardust Pastry, Marquee Rentals, and Groove Knight (live band). I think the bride and groom have amazing taste!!

I’d forgotten to blog this session from a couple months ago. I’m so glad I was able to see this family again – and with one addition!!

I do have “the shot” of whole family  looking at the camera, but here are some of them being them that I just loved!

Alright, this first image may be my favorite sibling image yet! I can’t tell you how fun these three kiddos were! The entire family was just perfect to work with!

Oh my goodness, I could photograph this little one all day! I think she could turn anyone’s heart to mush – so sweet!

I do love children dressed in shades of white and blue. It’s so clean and timeless! These kids were just darling and said the cutest little things (well, the two talkers)!

When I think of this session and this family, “peaceful” is what comes to mind. Both of their darling girls were little gems to photograph! Newborn sessions are so special; I’m thrilled they invited me to capture them during this precious time!

Shhh! Don’t tell them, but I was a tad nervous photographing a family with teens! Most of the families I work with have little ones at home. And then I reminded myself that I also photograph weddings. Phew! It turns out that they are just the sweetest family with a lot of love. And lucky for me, they’re naturals in front of the camera! What a treat to photograph them on my trip to California – here’s hoping for another trip next summer!!
